Fixed Wing Pilot - Home Based

Guardian Flight is seeking a qualified Fixed Wing Pilot to provide medical air transportation services nationwide across the United States. This is a home-based, remote position requiring regional coverage. The pilot will operate Pilatus PC12 and King Air C90 aircraft on a regular full-time basis, working a 14/14 schedule.

The Fixed Wing Pilot is responsible for safely transporting customers to and from locations and facilities while working collaboratively with a team of medical experts. Responsibilities include ensuring aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating effectively with dispatch and flight crews, and maintaining required certifications and ongoing training.

Minimum qualifications include a Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL or C-AMEL) rating, willingness and ability to obtain an ATP within 5 years of employment, a valid driver's license, a current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate, and specific flight hour requirements: 2,500 total flight hours, 2,000 fixed wing hours, 1,000 PIC hours, 500 multi-engine hours, 500 cross country hours, 100 night hours, and 75 instrument hours (50 actual).

The role requires working in outside weather conditions, potential deicing, and assisting with aircraft maneuvering. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities are also required.

This position offers a starting wage of $112,284 - $122,312, a $15,000 sign-on bonus (after successful completion of training/checkride) with no training contract, and a $40,000 retention bonus (subject to a 6-month wait period and a 3-year program). Additional benefits include commuter expenses paid, a $50.00 per diem, company-paid crew housing, and company-paid Known Crew Member (KCM) access.
