Key Responsibilities of the PC-12 First Officer
The First Officer serves as an integral member of the flight crew, meticulously assisting the Pilot in Command (PIC) with all phases of flight operations. Core responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Captain in the comprehensive review and analysis of all relevant meteorological data and Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) prior to dispatch.
- Rigorous verification and cross-checking of all critical flight information and documentation provided by the Flight Operations Center (FOC).
- Maintaining strict and unwavering compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company policies, and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Performing all duties in a manner that demonstrates superior airmanship and a dedication to safety and operational excellence.
Minimum Professional Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements for consideration:
- Flight Time: A verifiable minimum of 750 hours of total flight time.
- Certifications: Current Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Single Engine Land (SEL) endorsement and a valid Instrument Rating.
- Medical Status: Possession of a current 1st Class or 2nd Class Medical Certificate.
- Skills: Demonstrated excellent knowledge of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) procedures and superior basic attitude instrument flying ability.
