Pilot-in-Command (PIC) - PC-12
Cutter Aviation is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Aviation Professional to serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of a new PC-12 Pilatus, based at the Phoenix Sky Harbor location. This position involves single pilot operations supporting owner travel requirements, in addition to charter flying. As PIC, the successful candidate will be the primary representative of Cutter Aviation, requiring exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, coupled with a strong drive to provide world-class customer service to the owner and clients. The PIC will also liaise with Cutter Flight Management regarding all phases of aircraft operations and support and act as the external representative of the company to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the business aviation community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to safety.
- Exhibit a desire to provide world-class service.
- Serve as PIC on the PC-12 in Part 91 and 135 on-demand charter operations.
- Maintain availability on a 24/7 year-round basis.
- Adapt to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations pertaining to flight operations, qualifications, currency, fitness for flight, and aircraft compliance.
- Adhere to established procedures for reporting irregularities during flights and ground checks, as well as maintaining accurate records.
- Fulfill additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.
Minimum Requirements:
- Commercial and Instrument Rating (ATP Preferred).
- Previous Turbojet Type Rating and/or Turboprop experience preferred.
- Current 1st Class Medical Certificate or ability to qualify for one.
- Absence of accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past 5 years.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general aviation aircraft and their service requirements, along with an understanding of the needs of crews and passengers.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Capable of training an SIC pilot to properly perform their functions.
- Genuine desire to assist customers and be part of a team.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and mannerisms.
- Ability to develop a friendly rapport.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to multi-task.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
PC12 Preferred Requirements:
- Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
- 1200 Total Flight Hours.
- 500 Cross Country Flight Hours.
- 100 Night Flight Hours.
- 75 Instrument Flight Hours (50 of which were in actual flight).
- Previous experience in on-demand charter operations.
- Previous FSI or Simuflite Training.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass a drug screening test.

- High School Diploma or GED.
