Cabin Crew Opportunity with Air Arabia Egypt
Air Arabia Egypt is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its cabin crew team. The successful candidate will serve as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive brand image by enhancing the overall customer experience. The role involves providing exceptional customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle. The individual must be ready and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in accordance with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifying safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities; entering required data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivering consistently excellent customer service by addressing passenger pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- Recognizing and supporting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other instructions.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before takeoff; reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before continuing the flight.
- Ensuring orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, as well as ensuring the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reporting on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor; fulfilling the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training sessions, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, ensuring current license validity.
- Contributing to team success by achieving related results and fulfilling allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with the assistance of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
