- Proven experience in flight training management or instructional leadership, contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality aviation curricula.
- Thorough knowledge of current aviation regulations and training standards, with specific expertise and interest in the unique requirements of the unmanned aviation world.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills, enabling effective mentorship and guidance for aspiring pilots.
- Experience in providing instruction for multi-engine and instrument ratings.
- Familiarity with contemporary flight simulation technologies and their application in training.
- A dedication to student development, nurturing talent, and cultivating a robust learning environment.
Minimum Requirements
Prospective applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1000 hours.
- Instructor Experience: At least 250 hours logged as a flight instructor.
- License: Valid UK CAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
- Medical: Current UK CAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- English Language Proficiency: ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher.
- Type Rating: Not required; comprehensive type rating training will be provided by AALTO.
