The Role: Flight Instructor
The successful candidate will serve as a pivotal member of the flight operations team, working in close coordination with the Chief Flying Instructor (CFI). This specialized role focuses on delivering comprehensive flight and ground school instruction to students at various stages of their training pathway, utilizing the fleet standard aircraft, including the Cessna 152 (C152), Cessna 172 (C172), and Piper PA-28. The Instructor is instrumental in upholding stringent regulatory compliance, maintaining high standards of instruction, and actively promoting a robust safety culture across all training syllabi.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct advanced flight training on C152, C172, and PA-28 aircraft in strict alignment with the organizational Flying Order Book and regulatory requirements.

Deliver specialized syllabus instruction, including the UK Private Pilot Licence (PPL(A)), the Instrument Rating (IR)(R)/IMC, and Night Rating qualifications.

Provide expert ground school instruction, theoretical knowledge preparation, and examination support to students.

Guide students proficiently through required flight manoeuvres and competencies necessary for rating achievement and licence issue.

Diligently monitor and record all student progress, ensuring meticulous and accurate completion of all required training documentation and records.

Ensure all aircraft operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with current aviation legislation and internal company procedures.

Actively champion and promote a leading safety culture throughout all flight and ground training activities.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must possess the requisite professional qualifications, comprehensive regulatory knowledge, and demonstrated instructional excellence.

Must hold a valid Flight Instructor Rating (FI(A)) or Class Rating Instructor Rating (CRI(A)).

Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL(A)) is required, or a Private Pilot Licence (PPL(A)) combined with a minimum of 200 total flight hours, including 150 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).

Must hold a current Single Engine Piston (SEP) (Land) rating.

A valid medical certificate of the appropriate class is mandatory.

Demonstrated strength in leadership, instructional techniques, and student management.

The ability to operate collaboratively and effectively as a professional team member under the direction of the Chief Flying Instructor (CFI).
