Airbus is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Type Rating Instructor (TRI) to join its esteemed training division. This role demands a profound understanding of aviation regulations, aircraft systems, and instructional methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive theoretical and practical type rating training for pilots on designated Airbus aircraft models.
- Develop and deliver engaging instructional content, including lectures, simulator sessions, and practical flight training.
- Assess pilot performance against established training syllabi and regulatory requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching to trainees to foster skill development and enhance operational competence.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aircraft systems, operational procedures, and relevant aviation regulations.
- Ensure adherence to Airbus's quality standards and safety protocols throughout all training activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a frozen ATPL.
- Previous experience as a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) on relevant Airbus aircraft types is highly desirable.
- Proven instructional skills with experience in delivering training in classroom and simulator environments.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt training approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
- Proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.
