Boeing Defence UK is expanding its Fixed Wing training capability and is looking for a skilled Pilot Instructor to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training for P-8A pilots, utilising simulator and ground-based instruction. Responsibilities

Deliver P-8A simulator and ground training in accordance with company standards, customer requirements, and MAA regulatory guidelines.

Develop and conduct simulator and ground school pilot instruction.

Create training tools and techniques to meet customer needs.

Employ instructor-led training and computer-based training methodologies.

Coordinate training activities, apply standardised teaching techniques, perform demonstrations, and conduct evaluations to meet contractual standards and regulatory requirements.

Assess student competence according to company and customer regulations.

Promote and uphold safety standards, actively identifying and rectifying conditions that affect safety.
Requirements

Demonstrable experience in defence flying training as a qualified flight training instructor.

Prior experience with the P-8A aircraft is highly desirable.

Previous Boeing 737 type-rated experience is desirable.

Ability to communicate effectively with personnel from diverse skill areas, cultures, and functions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Skills in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, and developing conclusions and recommendations.

Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.
Qualifications

Must be a multi-engine fixed-wing Pilot, preferably ex-military, with large aircraft, multi-engine/multi-crew experience.

A B737 Type Rated Instructor (TRI) or Simulator Flight Instructor (SFI) qualification is preferred for the Pilot OCU Instructor role.

Successful completion of the Aircrew Instructors' Course (AIC) or a civilian equivalent is preferred.
