Key Aspects of the Role:
- Delivering comprehensive flight and simulator instruction, ensuring adherence to applicable aviation regulations and the highest company standards.
- Upholding exemplary standards of safety, professionalism, and instructional integrity.
- Availability to be positioned to Gama Aviation’s approved ATO FSTD site in Norway for typically short periods to perform training duties in accordance with the training schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1500 hours.
- Instructor Qualification: Must currently hold or have previously held a Part FCL Instructor qualification.
- License Requirements: Valid UK CAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine (ME) rating, Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) rating, and Type Rating Instructor (TRI) rating.
- Medical Certificate: Current Class 1 Medical.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency: Level 4 or higher.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided by Gama Aviation.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Ideally possesses a B200 King Air Type Rating with 500+ hours of experience suitable for Type Training.
- Prior EFIS (Collins Pro-line) experience or equivalent would be advantageous, though not essential.
- Previous experience with operating Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs) is beneficial.
- Comprehensive and practical knowledge of applicable aviation regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
