This pivotal role involves delivering exceptional flight and ground instruction, contributing to the development of aviation professionals within a dynamic and international training environment.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
- Conducting comprehensive individual and classroom instruction, upholding the highest professional and instructional standards.
- Regularly deploying to Gama Aviation’s approved ATO Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) site in Norway for typically short periods, performing training duties in accordance with the established schedule.
- Demonstrating a conscientious approach to upholding rigorous training and operational standards.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1500 hours.
- Instructor Qualification: Must currently hold or have previously held a Part FCL Instructor qualification.
- Licence Requirements: Possess valid UK CAA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine (ME), Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI), and Type Rating Instructor (TRI) qualifications.
- Medical Certificate: Hold a current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- English Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
- Type Rating: While a specific type rating is not an essential prerequisite (training provided), candidates must possess the foundational qualifications suitable for Type Training instruction.
Highly Desired Attributes
Candidates demonstrating the following attributes will be at a distinct advantage:
- Preferred Type Rating: Possession of a B200 King Air Type Rating with over 500 hours of experience, demonstrating suitability for conducting Type Training.
- Avionics Experience: Prior experience with EFIS (Collins Pro-line) or equivalent avionics systems.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive and practical knowledge of applicable aviation regulations.
- FSTD Experience: Previous experience with the operation of Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs).
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
