Essential Flight Qualifications and Experience
- Total PIC Time: A minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) is required.
- License Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid UK CAA Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), and Multi-Engine (ME) endorsement.
- Medical Status: Maintenance of a current Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- English Proficiency: ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher.
- Acceptable Experience: Applicants must have accrued a minimum of 500 hours as 1st pilot, or hold current qualification as a Military Multi-Engine Pilot.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not required; comprehensive training will be provided by Ascent Flight Training.

Security Vetting and Residency Requirements
All roles within Ascent Flight Training are subject to stringent security criteria. Applicants must, at minimum, successfully meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Furthermore, the successful candidate for this position must be able to obtain and retain Security Check (SC) clearance.
Security vetting requirements may affect eligibility based on factors such as current and former nationality, place of birth, or residency history.
