Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking a P-8A Pilot Instructor to join its P-8A Training Centre at RAF Lossiemouth, United Kingdom. This role focuses on delivering simulator and ground-based pilot training for customer crews.
About the Role
The P-8A Pilot Instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive P-8A simulator and ground-based training, adhering to company standards, customer requirements, and Military Aviation Authority regulations. This position involves developing and conducting instructional programs, utilizing various training methodologies, and evaluating student competence to meet military and civilian regulatory, contractual, and certification standards. The instructor will also play a crucial role in fostering a proactive safety culture and identifying and mitigating safety risks.
Requirements

Demonstrable defence flying-training experience as a qualified flight training instructor.

Experience in large-aircraft, multi-engine, and multi-crew operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data, and summarize findings with conclusions and recommendations.

Effective communication skills with personnel across multiple skill areas, cultures, and functions.

Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (United Kingdom Security Check).

Prior P-8A experience is highly desirable.
Qualifications

Preference for a multi-engine fixed-wing pilot, ideally with military experience.

Preferred qualifications include serving as a B737 Type Rated Instructor (TRI) or Simulator Flight Instructor (SFI).

Successful completion of the Aircrew Instructors' Course (AIC) or a civilian equivalent is preferred.
