Shape the Future of Flight: The Role
The Aviate Sourcing and Pilot Recruiter plays a vital role in attracting top talent to United's innovative Aviate program. This individual will be a brand ambassador, responsible for sourcing, attracting, and recruiting candidates passionate about aviation. This dynamic role requires building and nurturing relationships with students, instructors, and industry partners to ensure program goals are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Identification & Engagement: Proactively source, attract, and recruit highly qualified candidates from Aviate partner flight schools, universities, and Part 135 operators.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with students, instructors, and industry partners to drive program interest and applications.
- Program Advocacy: Represent United and the Aviate program at career fairs, campus visits, and industry events, delivering compelling presentations to diverse audiences.
- Strategic Recruitment: Analyze program data, identify trends, and collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies.
- Candidate Guidance: Provide exceptional support to candidates throughout the application process, answering questions, and facilitating a smooth and positive experience.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively with the Pilot Hiring team to ensure a seamless transition for candidates progressing through the selection process.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 6 months of dedicated recruiting experience.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating and attending career fairs.
- Prior experience developing and delivering presentations to large groups.
- Aviation recruiting experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $59,700 to $87,560 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Eligible for bonus incentives based on performance.
