Corporate Trainer

Position Summary

The Corporate Trainer is responsible for conducting initial and recurrent training for above and below-wing operations system-wide, including ramp operations, customer service, security, safety, ACAA, weight and balance, and aircraft appearance. The role involves cross-utilization in all below-wing operations and requires auditing station performance to ensure adherence to company, carrier, and regulatory policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate initial and recurrent training across the system.
  • Evaluate and supervise customer service and ramp safety procedures.
  • Audit station records, identify discrepancies, and schedule corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update training records and syllabi to ensure compliance with company, carrier, and FAA regulations.
  • Conduct Ground Service Equipment (GSE) training.
  • Manage training on Hazmat recognition, security, and ACAA standards.
  • Generate detailed Audit Reports (Corrective Action Requests - CARs) and conduct follow-up audits to ensure process improvements.
  • Instruct other trainers on new and recurrent materials.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Manager of Station Operations Training.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of airline experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of airline supervisory and training/instructor experience.
  • Working knowledge of PC computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong working knowledge of airline policies and procedures.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
  • Must successfully pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug test.

Physical Demands

Must be able to carry a 70-pound suitcase from the floor to 18 inches and transport it for a distance of up to 25 feet. Requires physical dexterity to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and twisting. Ability to stand for up to four hours at a time and maintain sufficient vision to perform essential job functions.

Travel and Work Environment

This position requires significant travel (70% total; 65–75% for audits, meetings, and conferences), including day, overnight, and multi-week trips. Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor airport environments, including exposure to high noise levels and extreme temperatures. Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
