Your Role
SAS Scandinavia is seeking a qualified and motivated Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) Airbus to join SAS Crew Training. This is a key leadership position with overall responsibility for Airbus type-related flight training within SAS Scandinavia.
You will join a highly professional and dedicated training organization. As Chief Flight Instructor Airbus, you will be part of the SAS Crew Training / STOOL Operational Management Team and hold the designated authority position of CFI within the SAS Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
Overall responsibility for all Airbus type-related flight training activities within SAS Scandinavia.
Strategic responsibility combined with hands-on operational leadership in a dynamic and regulated training environment.
Ensure compliance with:
o SAS Scandinavia OM-D 0.7.5
o SAS ATO Manual 0.3.1.1
o EASA regulation ORA.ATO.210
Lead, motivate, and develop instructors and training personnel while ensuring full regulatory compliance and consistently high training standards.
You will be part of SAS Crew Training, responsible for all EASA-OPS training for SAS flight and cabin crew, as well as EASA-FCL training conducted through the SAS ATO. Our team values professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Extensive training experience in accordance with ORA.ATO.210, including a minimum of 500 hours of instructional flying on a relevant aircraft type.
Active pilot on a SAS-relevant Airbus aircraft type.
Fluent in English and one Scandinavian language.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
