SAS Scandinavia invites applications for the position of Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) Airbus within SAS Crew Training. Role Overview
The Chief Flight Instructor Airbus holds the designated authority position of CFI within the SAS Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and serves as a member of the SAS Crew Training / STOOL Operational Management Team. The incumbent will be responsible for the strategic oversight and operational leadership of all Airbus type-related flight training activities for SAS Scandinavia.
Key Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership for all Airbus type-related flight training.

Ensure full regulatory compliance with SAS Scandinavia OM-D 0.7.5, SAS ATO Manual 0.3.1.1, and EASA regulation ORA.ATO.210.

Lead, develop, and motivate training personnel to maintain high training standards.

Balance strategic management with hands-on operational leadership.

The role consists of approximately 75% administrative duties and 25% pilot duties.
Candidate Requirements

Extensive training experience in accordance with EASA ORA.ATO.210, including a minimum of 500 hours of instructional flying on a relevant aircraft type.

Currently active as a pilot on a SAS-relevant Airbus aircraft type.

Professional fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language.

Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
