Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates applying for the First Officer position must meet the following stringent criteria:
- Turbine Flight Experience: A minimum of 600 flight hours on turbine-powered aircraft.
- Type Rating: A type rating is not a prerequisite, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Flight Time Criteria: A total of 600 flight hours is required on aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 5.7 tonnes.
- Required Licenses and Ratings: Applicants must possess a Frozen ATPL, Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine (ME) rating, Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificate, and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT).
- License Holder Eligibility: Open to pilots holding EASA-issued licenses.
- Medical Certification: Must hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency: A minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency level of 4 is mandatory.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and German is required.
- Vaccination Policy: COVID-19 vaccination is required where permitted by applicable law.
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
- Additional Prerequisites: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary. A current valid passport is essential. Very good German language skills (minimum level B2 if not a native/everyday language) must be demonstrable. An impeccable personal and professional record is expected. A willingness to be vaccinated with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever, etc.) is also a requirement.
