DHC-6 Pilot Opportunities

ZIMEX, an aviation leader established in 1969, is planning to conduct assessments in June 2026 for upcoming DHC-6 pilot opportunities. We are seeking resilient, flexible, and solution-oriented professionals capable of operating in highly demanding environments, including high-risk countries. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to maintain composure under pressure and work effectively within a close-knit team while navigating complex cultural landscapes.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Total Time: 200 hours (70 hours as Pilot-in-Command).
  • Valid EASA (frozen) ATPL (A) license.
  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical.
  • Valid EASA ME-IR license.
  • ICAO Language Proficiency English: Minimum Level 4.
  • Advanced UPRT or previously held EASA-type rating on HPA or MPA.
  • MCC or 500 hours of multi-crew operation.
  • Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination and Yellow Fever certificate.
  • DHC-6 (Twin Otter) type rating is considered a distinct advantage; preference will be given to candidates who are type-rated.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Rotation schedule: Five weeks on, five weeks off (paid), subject to operational requirements.
  • Paid travel provided between home gateway airport and bases.
  • All work-related expenses covered, including accommodation and food while on duty.
  • Company-covered flight medical and license revalidations.
  • Defined career progression pathways toward the left seat, training roles, or heavier aircraft (ATR).
