Key Responsibilities
As a pilot, the individual will serve as a distinguished representative of SWISS. Collaborating with the entire crew, they will ensure the safe and punctual arrival of guests at their destinations. This role carries significant responsibility for the aircraft, the crew, the passengers, and the onboard cargo. Additional duties include:
- Operating SWISS aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering to punctuality, economic considerations, and maintaining high-quality service standards for guests.
- Executing flight preparations and operations in accordance with SWISS's established procedures.
- Fostering seamless collaboration with the flight crew, ground personnel, and air traffic control.
- Providing comprehensive support and acting as a deputy to the Commander in all operational aspects.
- Maintaining and enhancing professional knowledge through continuous, self-directed learning.
- Demonstrating responsible and sustainable conduct in all professional activities.

Requirements
To be considered for the Direct Entry First Officer A330 position at SWISS, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
In addition to a completed education with a Matura/Abitur, HF Diploma, or equivalent general university entrance qualification, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:
- ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR with ATPL(A) theory, or MPL license (EASA Part-FCL).
- Advanced UPRT Training compliant with EASA.FCL.745.
- Valid A330 Type Rating.
- Multi Engine IR Rating with PBN.
- Minimum of 800 flight hours experience on the A330 family aircraft.
- Valid Medical Class 1 Certificate.
- Uninterrupted and documented flight performance record (logbook, license, etc.).
- Swiss citizenship or an EU-27/EFTA passport.
- Excellent command of German (minimum B2 level proficiency certificate if German is not their mother tongue or daily language) and good English proficiency (minimum ICAO Level 4).
- Impeccable background check.
- Willingness to undergo vaccinations with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, Yellow Fever, etc.).
- Height range: 160-198 cm.
- Maximum age: 56 years, in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement (GAV).
