Responsibilities
As a Pilot at SWISS, you represent the airline, ensuring the safety and punctuality of guests, crew, and cargo. Core duties include:

Operating SWISS aircraft safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality, punctuality, and economic performance.

Conducting flight preparation and execution according to company regulations.

Collaborating effectively with flight crews, ground personnel, and air traffic control.

Supporting and acting as a deputy to the Commander in all operational matters.

Proactively maintaining and deepening professional knowledge and skills.

Operating with a focus on responsibility and sustainability.
Requirements
To qualify for the Direct Entry First Officer A330 position, candidates must possess a completed educational background (Matura/Abitur, Diploma HF, or university entrance qualification) and meet the following criteria:

EASA Part-FCL ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR with ATPL(A) theory, or MPL license.

Advanced UPRT training (EASA.FCL.745).

Valid A330 Type Rating.

Multi-Engine IR Rating with PBN.

Minimum of 800 flight hours on the A330 family.

Medical Class 1 Certificate.

Documented flight records (logbook excerpts, licenses, etc.).

Swiss, EU-27, or EFTA citizenship.

Excellent command of German (minimum C1 level if not a native/daily speaker) and good English proficiency (minimum ICAO Level 4).

Impeccable personal records.

Willingness to receive vaccinations approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, Yellow Fever, etc.).

Height requirement: 160–198 cm.

Maximum age: 56 years, based on the Collective Labour Agreement (GAV).
