Responsibilities
As a Pilot, you will serve as a representative of SWISS. You are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, ensuring the safety of the crew, passengers, and cargo. Key responsibilities include:

Operating SWISS aircraft safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of punctuality, economy, and quality.

Executing flight preparation and flight procedures according to SWISS guidelines.

Collaborating effectively with flight crews, ground personnel, and Air Traffic Control.

Supporting and representing the Commander in all flight-related matters.

Continuously maintaining and advancing professional aeronautical knowledge.

Acting with a high level of responsibility and sustainability in all operations.
Requirements
Candidates for the Direct Entry First Officer A330 position must possess a completed secondary education (Matura, Abitur, Diploma HF, or equivalent) and satisfy the following criteria:

ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR with ATPL(A) theory, or MPL license (EASA Part-FCL).

Advanced UPRT training in accordance with EASA.FCL.745.

Valid A330 Type Rating.

Multi-Engine IR Rating with PBN.

Minimum of 800 flight hours on the A330 family.

Valid Medical Class 1 certificate.

Complete and documented flight performance record (logbook extracts, license, etc.).

Citizenship of Switzerland or an EU-27/EFTA country.

Excellent command of German (minimum C1 level if not a native/everyday speaker) and strong English language skills (minimum ICAO Level 4).

Unblemished personal record (Leumund).

Willingness to receive vaccinations approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, Yellow Fever, etc.).

Height requirement: 160–198 cm.

Maximum age: 56 years (based on collective labor agreement).
