SWISS is seeking a dedicated and professional Pilot to join the team at Switzerland’s largest airline. As a representative of SWISS, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, punctuality, and comfort of passengers while managing aircraft, crew, and cargo operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate SWISS aircraft safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of punctuality, economy, and service quality.
  • Execute flight preparation and operations in accordance with SWISS protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with flight crews, ground personnel, and air traffic control.
  • Support and deputize for the Commander in all operational matters.
  • Maintain and deepen professional knowledge through continuous, self-directed learning.
  • Act with high levels of responsibility and sustainability.
  • Perform duties as an individual of integrity, maturity, and loyalty, demonstrating strong social competence and leadership potential.

Requirements

  • Completed education: Matura/Abitur, diploma (HF), or equivalent general/vocational higher education entrance qualification.
  • EASA Part-FCL license: ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR with ATPL theory, or MPL.
  • Valid MCC certificate.
  • Valid Medical Class 1.
  • Minimum of 600 flight hours (MTOM > 5.7t).
  • Complete and documented record of flight performance (e.g., flight logbook extracts, license).
  • Citizenship of an EU-27/EFTA country or Switzerland.
  • Proficiency in German (minimum level C1 if not a native/everyday speaker) and good conversational English (minimum ICAO Level 4).
  • Impeccable personal character/background.
  • Willingness to receive vaccinations approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, Yellow Fever, etc.).
  • Height: 160–198 cm.
  • Maximum age: 56 years (based on collective labor agreement).
  • Advanced UPRT training in accordance with EASA.FCL.745 (documentation required).
