Job Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Hawker 900XP Captain to join an operation based at the KENW airport. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional committed to excellence in all aspects of their performance. This role involves joining a team focused on safely and expertly meeting client travel needs while upholding Solairus Aviation's core values of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for the safe operation of the Hawker 900XP aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to the following, including but not limited to:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • Conducting proper pre-flight inspections as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Completing a thorough check of weather and facilities along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensuring the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rated on Hawker 900XP or comparable aircraft.
• Valid First Class Medical certificate required.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence must be within a 2-hour drive of KENW, or a willingness to relocate.

Compensation Information

Solairus Aviation gathers salary range data based on market conditions from various industry sources. Solairus crewmembers can expect compensation ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, depending on factors such as geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job responsibilities, training, and assigned account.
