Overview
Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Gulfstream G550 Captain to join an operation based at DFW. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence, safety, and integrity while contributing to a hardworking team focused on meeting the sophisticated travel needs of our clients.
Essential Responsibilities

Maintain safe and prudent operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.

Review the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to operation.

Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.

Perform comprehensive checks of weather conditions, routes, and facilities, including alternate airports.

Ensure all flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Prioritize the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.

Accurately complete all required trip paperwork and documentation.
Required Qualifications

Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours

Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours

Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours

Instrument Time: 250 hours
Certifications and Specific Requirements

Type-rated on Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.

Valid First Class Medical Certificate.

Ability to work on an on-call basis.

Capacity to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.

Must reside within a two-hour drive of DFW or be willing to relocate.
Compensation
Solairus Aviation provides competitive compensation based on market conditions. Salaries range from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by factors including geographic area, experience, equipment type, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
