Gulfstream G550 Captain
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G550 Captain to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative professional committed to excellence in all aspects of their performance, contributing to the safe and expert delivery of client travel needs while upholding Solairus’ core values of safety, service, and integrity.
Responsibilities:

Ensure the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.

Conduct flights safely and prudently, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies.

Review aircraft maintenance status.

Perform thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.

Assess weather and facility conditions along the flight route, including alternate airports.

Ensure flights comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Prioritize the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.

Accurately complete all trip paperwork according to current procedures.
Qualifications:

Total Flight Time: 3000 hours

Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
-
MEL PIC Time: 500 hours
-
Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours

Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours
Specific Requirements/Certifications:

Type rating on Gulfstream G550 or comparable aircraft.

Valid First Class Medical certificate.

Availability for on-call duty.

Annual completion of ICAO International procedures training.

Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of New York Metro area airports, or willingness to relocate.
