Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Gulfstream G550 Captain to join our operations team based at KTEB. The successful candidate will embody a commitment to safety, service, and integrity, contributing to a collaborative team that provides expert aviation solutions to our clients.

Essential Responsibilities

Assume full responsibility for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Review aircraft maintenance status prior to flight.
Perform comprehensive pre-flight inspections as outlined in the Aircraft Flight Manual.
Execute thorough planning, including weather checks, facility evaluation, and route analysis (including alternate airports).
Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
Maintain accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation.

Qualifications

Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land PIC: 500 hours
Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Requirements

Type rated on Gulfstream G550 or comparable aircraft.
Must possess a valid First Class Medical certificate.
Ability to work on an on-call basis.
Requirement to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
Must reside within a two-hour drive of KTEB or be willing to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation provides competitive compensation based on market conditions. Salaries range from $50,000 to $500,000, contingent upon geographic area, individual experience, equipment type, job duties, training, and the specific assigned account.
