Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and professional Gulfstream G550 Captain to join our flight operations based at Opa-locka, FL (OPF). Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft, ensuring all flights adhere to Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. Key duties include:

• Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Reviewing aircraft maintenance status prior to departure.
• Performing comprehensive weather briefings and facility checks for all planned routes, including alternate airports.
• Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
• Completing all trip-related documentation accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following flight hour requirements and professional criteria:

• Total Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours
• Certifications: Type rated on Gulfstream G550 or comparable aircraft; valid First Class Medical certificate required.
• Operational Requirements: Ability to work on an on-call basis and successfully complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Residency: Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of OPF, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.
