CAE (CAE Simuflite Inc) | G-V Instructor

CAE Simuflite is seeking a G550 Instructor Pilot to join their team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves delivering comprehensive flight simulator and ground school training to business aviation clients, serving as a subject matter expert, and potentially progressing to a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) position.

About the Role

The G550 Instructor Pilot is responsible for providing high-quality instruction through full-flight simulators and ground school sessions. This position requires delivering training in accordance with regulatory standards, CAE's curriculum, and client expectations. The role includes conducting detailed pre- and post-flight simulator briefings and acting as a key resource for client training needs and internal course development. Duties also encompass administrative tasks, such as maintaining training records and recommending remedial training. The instructor may be eligible to become a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman after approximately 1.5 years of service, subject to business requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of an unrestricted ATP certificate or completion of the ATP Written exam.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and internet-based programs).
• Strong communication and teaching aptitude.
• Willingness to participate in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• An unrestricted Pilot-in-Command (PIC) type rating is preferred.
• Experience in FAR Part 135 operations and over 3,000 total flight hours are preferred.
• Prior experience flying business aircraft is highly desired.
• Previous instructional or training experience.
• Ability to adapt training content for a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping to CAE and FAA standards.
• A customer-service oriented approach.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
