Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G550 Captain for operations based at Teterboro, New Jersey (KTEB). This position requires a highly dependable professional to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, support client travel, and uphold the company's standards of safety, service, integrity, and operational excellence.

About the Role

The Gulfstream G550 Captain will be responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations. Key duties include reviewing aircraft maintenance status, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, verifying weather and airport information for planned routes and alternates, ensuring the safety of passengers, crew, and the aircraft, and accurately completing all required trip documentation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
• At least 1,500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• A minimum of 1,500 hours of Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
• A minimum of 500 hours of MEL PIC time.
• A minimum of 500 hours of turbojet time.
• At least 250 hours of instrument flight time.
• A type rating on the Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.
• A current first-class medical certificate.
• The ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KTEB or be willing to relocate.
