Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G550 Captain for operations based at San Jose, California (KSJC). This role involves the safe and prudent operation of the G550 aircraft to support the company's client travel mission, adhering strictly to company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations, and fostering a culture of safety, service, integrity, and professional teamwork.
The Captain is fundamentally responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550, ensuring all flights are conducted in a safe and prudent manner. Key responsibilities include meticulous review of the aircraft's maintenance status, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, and evaluating weather and facility information for planned routes and diversion airports. The role demands strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, with a paramount focus on protecting the safety of passengers, the aircraft, and the crew. Accurate completion of all trip paperwork according to established procedures is also a critical duty.
