Solairus Aviation seeks a skilled Gulfstream G550 Captain for a full-time position based at Opa-locka Executive Airport (OPF) in Florida. This role focuses on the safe and prudent operation of the G550 aircraft on an on-call basis, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

About the Role

The Gulfstream G550 Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Key duties include thorough pre-flight inspections, comprehensive weather and route planning, ensuring adherence to Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of safety for passengers, crew, and the aircraft. Accurate completion of all trip-related documentation is also a critical aspect of this position.

Requirements

• Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
• Minimum 500 hours MEL PIC time.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbo Jet flight time.
• Minimum 250 hours Instrument flight time.
• Type rating on Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a First Class Medical Certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of OPF or a willingness to relocate.
