Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated, professional, and flexible Full-Time Flight Attendant to support operations based at KSJC. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service to ensure the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers. This role requires a strong passion for culinary arts, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage a demanding, fast-paced flight schedule.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide superior personalized service to maintain passenger safety and comfort during all phases of flight.
  • Conduct pre-flight briefings and ensure all cabin supplies, catering, and emergency equipment are stocked and flight-ready.
  • Direct and assist passengers during emergency situations, including administering CPR, AED, and basic first aid.
  • Secure the cabin in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations prior to take-off and landing.
  • Manage cabin cleanliness, including the galley, lavatories, and flight deck, post-flight.
  • Operate sophisticated cabin management, audio/video, and galley systems.
  • Coordinate passenger-requested items and maintain comprehensive pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
  • Provide calm, professional support to passengers during turbulence or unexpected flight events.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Proven culinary skills and specific culinary training; advanced training is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Must have the ability to hold a valid passport and the unrestricted right to travel worldwide.
  • Must be technologically savvy and proficient with digital devices.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including late-night flights and the ability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.
  • Must be available for short-notice flight assignments (2–3 hour response time when on standby).
  • Ability to operate all cabin features, including configuring divans into beds and operating galley/cabin equipment.
  • College degree, fluency in foreign languages, and experience working with small children are considered assets.
  • Flight attendant-specific training (e.g., FlightSafety, FACTs) is preferred; annual recurrent training is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Vision must be correctable to 20/20 or better.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 14 hours; capable of working in various climates.
  • Physical ability to lift supplies (25–30 lbs) from floor to waist height repeatedly.
  • Strength required to operate main cabin doors weighing up to 130 lbs.
  • Must be able to kneel, stoop, and maneuver within confined aircraft spaces.
  • Must possess clear communication skills to interact effectively with flight crews and passengers.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $500,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft equipment, individual experience, and specific job duties.
