Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Full-Time Gulfstream G600 Captain to join its operation based at the Camarillo, CA (KCMA) airport. Essential Responsibilities

The Gulfstream G600 Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the Gulfstream G600 aircraft.
  • Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner.
  • Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to flight.
  • Performing a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Completing a comprehensive check of weather conditions, facilities, and alternate airports along the planned route.
  • Ensuring all flights adhere to Solairus Aviation's policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Guaranteeing the safety and well-being of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:

  • Total Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbojet Aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 250 hours

Specific Requirements and Certifications

  • Possession of a type rating on the Gulfstream G600 or a comparable aircraft.
  • Holds a current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Must complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
  • Must have a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KCMA or be willing to relocate to the area.

Salary Information

Solairus Aviation collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crew members are compensated based on geographic area, experience level, equipment type/aircraft flown, specific job duties, training completed, and the assigned account. The salary range for crew members is $50,000 to $500,000.
