The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4000 hours total fixed-wing flight time. This position requires an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with the appropriate Aircraft Type Rating. The pilot must obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical certificate. A minimum of 1500 hours of multi-engine land experience is required, along with 2000 hours as Pilot-in-Command, and 1500 hours of turbojet experience.
The responsibilities of this role include the safe operation of aircraft, determination of departure times and routes, and the authority to cancel flights due to weather or other adverse conditions. The pilot is expected to ensure that all flights are conducted in complete compliance with federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures. The pilot will also institute all necessary changes required by en route conditions, ensuring the continuation of the flight under appropriate company policies, procedures, and rules.
