Gulfstream G600 Captain - New York Region
Solairus Aviation seeks a dedicated and experienced Gulfstream G600 Captain to join its team in the New York region, specifically based in Morristown, New Jersey (KMMU). This is a full-time, on-site position. The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G600, ensuring adherence to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional teamwork skills and strive for excellence in all aspects of their performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safe operation of the Gulfstream G600 aircraft.
- Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, including:
- Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
- Performing thorough pre-flight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Completing comprehensive weather and facilities checks for the route and airports, including alternates.
- Ensuring compliance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
- Accurately completing all trip paperwork according to current procedures.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Total flight time: 3000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
- MEL PIC time: 500 hours
- Turbo Jet time: 500 hours
- Instrument time: 250 hours
- Type rating on Gulfstream G600 or comparable aircraft
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Completion of ICAO International procedures training annually
- Primary residence within a 3-hour drive of KMMU or willingness to relocate
