Purpose of Position
The Pilot in Command is responsible for acting as the Aircraft Commander, ensuring safe flight operations and delivering unparalleled customer service to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- The role requires the successful candidate to fulfill all duties of the Aircraft Commander, prioritizing the safety of all flights and passengers in strict adherence to the aircraft's Flight Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures, and applicable legislation.
- The Pilot in Command must focus on the safe and efficient operation of each flight according to established company procedures.
- This includes confirming the safe navigation of the aircraft, continuously and independently verifying its geographical position and terrain clearance.
- The role necessitates executing all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, and as determined by the commander.
- Reporting any occurrence or incident that has endangered or potentially endangered safety is mandatory, as is reporting any fault, failure, malfunction, or defect believed to affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aeroplane.
- A core responsibility is consistently providing the best possible customer service to contribute significantly to customer satisfaction and retention.
