Position Summary

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Gulfstream G550 Captain to join its esteemed flight operation based at KOPF airport in Opa-locka, FL. Key Responsibilities

The Gulfstream G550 Captain will be entrusted with comprehensive responsibility for the safe and prudent operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of all flights.
• Thoroughly reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to each flight.
• Performing a diligent pre-flight inspection in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting a complete assessment of weather conditions and available facilities along the intended route, including primary and alternate airports.
• Operating flights in full compliance with Solairus Aviation's established policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Prioritizing and ensuring the utmost safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in adherence to current operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess an exemplary aviation background, demonstrating the following flight experience:

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Hold a current type rating on the Gulfstream G550 aircraft or a comparable type.
• Maintain a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Demonstrate availability to work on an on-call basis, accommodating dynamic operational requirements.
• Successfully complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
• Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KOPF airport, or the candidate must be willing to relocate to meet this requirement.
