Corporate Pilot - Gulfstream G550
Our corporate flight department is actively seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Pilot to join its team, operating the Gulfstream G550 on worldwide missions. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional airmanship, leadership, and customer service, upholding the highest safety and operational standards. This critical role requires flexibility, discretion, and the ability to excel in a dynamic global travel environment, providing seamless support for executive travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as Second in Command/Pilot in Command (PIC) on Gulfstream G550 flights, ensuring peak levels of safety, professionalism, and strict adherence to all applicable regulations and company policies.
- Plans and executes complex global flight operations, encompassing international flight planning, optimal route selection, precise fuel planning, and accurate performance calculations.
- Ensures all flight operations rigorously comply with FAA regulations, ICAO standards, and relevant international operational requirements.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight inspections, meticulously supervises fueling, loading, and security arrangements, and ensures continuous aircraft readiness.
- Manages and mentors fellow crewmembers, actively cultivating a collaborative and highly professional cockpit environment.
- Delivers exemplary passenger service, prioritizing discretion, comfort, and efficiency throughout the entire travel experience.
- Maintains comprehensive and accurate flight records, reports, and all necessary regulatory documentation.
- Remains continuously current with advanced aircraft systems, avionics, and global navigation requirements.
- Actively participates in all required recurrent training programs and proficiency checks.
- Demonstrates familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) principles and practices.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- FAA Certifications for Airplane Single-Engine Land (ASEL) and Airplane Multi-Engine Land (AMEL).
- A minimum of 2,500 hours total flight time, including at least 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Required experience with jet or turboprop aircraft.
- Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel capability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Gulfstream G550 type rating.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAA Part 91 regulations, ICAO standards, and EASA operational requirements.
- Exceptional Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills and a proven ability to perform effectively within a multi-crew environment.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with an unwavering commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
