Key Responsibilities:

The Gulfstream G550 Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
• Conducting flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
• Performing thorough pre-flight inspections according to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting complete checks of weather, facilities, and alternate airports along the planned route.
• Ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew during flight operations.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork.

Minimum Flight Hour Requirements:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications & Certifications:

• Type rating on Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft type is required.
• Must hold a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
• Must complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence must be within a 2-hour drive of KLAX, or willingness to relocate is required.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation provides competitive compensation based on market conditions, geographic area, experience level, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned account. The estimated salary range for Solairus crewmembers is $50,000 to $500,000 annually.
