Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensures the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft, consistently prioritizing the safety of all passengers and crew.
• Conducts flights in a prudent and professional manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and company procedures.
• Performs comprehensive pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducts thorough reviews of the aircraft's maintenance status, current weather conditions, and facility availability for all planned routes and alternate airports.
• Ensures all flights are conducted in full compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Accurately completes all required flight and trip paperwork in accordance with established current procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Turbojet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Certifications and Operational Requirements

• Possession of a current Type Rating on the Gulfstream G550 aircraft is highly preferred; experience on comparable large cabin business jets will be considered.
• A valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate is required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate on an on-call basis, exhibiting flexibility and responsiveness to dynamic scheduling requirements.
• Must successfully complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive from Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX) or willingness to relocate to the KLAX area.

Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation packages for its highly valued crewmembers. Salaries typically range from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Final compensation is determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of factors including geographic area, individual experience, specific aircraft type, job duties, required training, and the assigned client account.
