Job Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G550 Captain to join an operation based at KTEB airport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional collegiality and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of performance. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, in accordance with, but not limited to:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • Performing a complete pre-flight inspection as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Thoroughly checking weather and facilities along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintaining the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rating on Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a First Class Medical certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KTEB or willingness to relocate.

Solairus Aviation gathers salary range information based on current market conditions from various industry sources. Compensation for Solairus crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, influenced by factors such as geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and the specific assigned account.
