Overview

Toyota’s AirFlite, Inc. is seeking a professional, highly motivated Aircraft Captain to join its Corporate Flight Operations team. This role reports to the Chief Pilot and is responsible for providing safe, dependable transportation for individuals traveling on corporate aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for international and domestic flight operations.
  • Conduct comprehensive preflight planning and inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness and performance compliance.
  • Ensure all flight activities adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations and departmental policies.
  • Execute flight-related duties, including route selection, contingency planning, weight and balance calculations, weather evaluation, and management of flight documentation and permits.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to assigned crew members, facilitating effective communication and procedural compliance.
  • Maintain industry knowledge through participation in professional courses and seminars.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot or Director of Aviation.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time and maintain a motor vehicle record acceptable by company standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Land Rating.
  • Minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command in fixed-wing, turbine-powered aircraft.
  • 1,500 hours of cross-country time, 1,000 hours of multi-engine time, 300 hours of actual instrument time, and 250 night flight hours.
  • Demonstrated international operations flight crew experience.
  • FAA First Class medical certificate and FCC Radio Telephone Operators Permit.
  • Passport with no restrictions on international travel.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Type Ratings for Gulfstream G550, G650, G700, or G800.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
