Position Summary

Solairus Aviation, a premier private aviation services company, is actively seeking an accomplished and dedicated Full-Time Gulfstream G550 Captain for an operation based at Teterboro Airport (KTEB) in New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

The G550 Captain is entrusted with the paramount responsibility of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Operating the G550 aircraft in a safe and prudent manner, strictly adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Diligently reviewing aircraft maintenance status prior to each flight.
• Performing comprehensive checks of weather conditions, airport facilities, and potential alternate airports along the planned route.
• Ensuring all flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation's established policies and procedures, as well as Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation according to current operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet stringent experience and certification requirements, including:

Flight Time

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Certifications & Other Requirements

• Type rating on the Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to operate on an on-call basis to meet dynamic operational demands.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of Teterboro Airport (KTEB) or willingness to relocate.

Compensation

Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation, with salaries for crewmembers ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Compensation is determined by factors such as geographic area, experience level, aircraft type, specific job duties, training qualifications, and assigned account.
