About the Role
The First Officer will operate as a key member of the flight crew, flying a combination of Part 91 and Part 135 operations. This position is based in Bridgeport, CT (KBDR). The ideal candidate is an adept problem-solver, a dedicated brand ambassador, and a supportive team player, consistently ready to contribute to the team's success and provide unparalleled service. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, luxury service to passengers as part of a global business aviation operation.
- Operate aircraft in accordance with Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with the Captain and flight crew to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
- Embody the company's commitment to service excellence and operational integrity.
- Act as a professional brand ambassador for Vista America and the broader Vista Family of Companies.
Pilot Requirements
- ATP rating required.
- Gulfstream type rating preferred.
- Minimum 2,500 hours of fixed-wing flight time.
- Minimum 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Minimum 150 hours logged in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions.
- Minimum 250 hours of turbine jet experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Part 91/135 operations.
- Minimum 150 hours of flight time within the previous 365 days and 30 hours within the previous 90 days.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- No accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions within the last 5 years.
- Meets the requirements of ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 pertaining to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
- Authorization to travel to and from all cities and countries served by Vista's Family of Companies.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
