Position Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Gulfstream G450 Captain to join its esteemed operation based at Long Beach Airport (KLGB). This pivotal role requires a standout colleague committed to achieving excellence in every aspect of performance. The successful candidate will join a diligent team focused on expertly and safely meeting the travel needs of Solairus Aviation's clients, while upholding the company's core values of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensures the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G450 aircraft.
• Conducts all flights in a safe and prudent manner, strictly adhering to established procedures and regulations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Thorough review of the aircraft's maintenance status.
  • Execution of a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Detailed assessment of weather conditions and available facilities along the planned route, including all intended and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members at all times.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all required trip paperwork in line with current operational procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• A total flight time of 3,000 hours.
• Pilot in Command (PIC) experience totaling 1,500 hours.
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) experience of 1,500 hours.
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC) experience of 500 hours.
• A minimum of 500 hours in Turbo Jet aircraft.
• Instrument flight time of 250 hours.

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• A current type rating on Gulfstream G450 or a comparable aircraft is required.
• Possession of a First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive from Long Beach Airport (KLGB) or a willingness to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range, determined by market conditions and based on geographic area, experience, aircraft type, specific job duties, and required training for the assigned account. The estimated annual compensation for Solairus crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000.
