Job Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively recruiting a full-time Gulfstream G450 Captain to join an esteemed operation based at KMCO airport in Orlando, Florida. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G450 aircraft.
  • Conducting all flights with the utmost prudence and safety, adhering strictly to, but not limited to, the following protocols:
    • Thorough review of the aircraft's current maintenance status.
    • Execution of a comprehensive pre-flight inspection as stipulated by the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
    • Meticulous assessment of weather conditions and facility availability along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
    • Guaranteeing flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
    • Accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation in accordance with current company procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Possession of a type rating for the Gulfstream G450 or a comparable aircraft.
  • A current First Class Medical certificate is mandatory.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis is required.
  • Successful completion of annual ICAO International Procedures training is necessary.
  • Must maintain primary residence within a two-hour drive of KMCO or demonstrate willingness to relocate.
