Executive Jet Management (EJM), a proud Berkshire Hathaway company, is actively seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Pilot in Command (Captain) on a Gulfstream G450 aircraft. This exceptional opportunity supports a meticulously maintained aircraft operating under FAA Part 135 regulations, based at Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport (KCXO) in Houston, Texas.

This managed account operates as a dedicated two-pilot crew, supported by an on-site Maintenance Technician. The operational profile involves approximately 300 flight hours annually, balanced between premium retail charter services and owner flights. Missions primarily cover the continental United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico, with occasional requirements for trans-Atlantic assignments.

Professional Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate is a seasoned aviation professional who demonstrates exceptional adherence to safety standards and operational excellence. Candidates must possess significant tenure within the corporate aviation sector.

Years of Experience

  • 8–10 years of total professional aviation experience is required.
  • Prior and extensive experience in corporate/business aviation environments is mandatory.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Certifications (KSAOs)

  • A Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Type Rating applicable to the fleet (specifically G450) is required.
  • Possession of an FAA Type Rating for G450, G-V, or G550 aircraft is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates lacking the specific G450 type rating must possess substantial prior flight time in Large-Cabin Gulfstream aircraft combined with extensive international flying experience.
  • The candidate must be able to perform all essential functions of the Pilot in Command role.

Minimum Flight Time Requirements

Qualified applicants must meet or exceed the following minimum flight hour requirements:

Domicile Requirements

This is a non-commutable position. The successful Captain must reside in or be willing to relocate immediately to the greater Houston, Texas, area to ensure operational availability.
