Pilot in Command - Gulfstream G450 (Part 91 & 135)

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Employment Type: Full-Time

Jet Linx is actively recruiting experienced Pilot in Command candidates for heavy jet aircraft operations under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. The successful candidate will reside within a two-hour call-out radius of their assigned home base or be willing to relocate.

Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures.

Minimum Flight Experience Requirements

  • Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
  • Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
  • Total Time in Type (Gulfstream G450): 250 hours
  • Total PIC Time in Type (Gulfstream G450): 250 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine Time: 1,500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
  • Total Instrument Time: 300 hours

Essential Functions

  • Management of duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company and CFR mandates.
  • Proactive communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre/post-flight reporting.
  • Maintenance and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
  • Ensuring the currency of navigation charts, publications, and company manuals.
  • Maintenance of a current 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • Demonstrated strong, proactive decision-making capabilities.
  • Upholding Jet Linx core values in all professional interactions.

Additional Requirements

  • Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the preceding 24 months is preferred.
  • Possession of a U.S. driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid U.S. Passport.
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the ability to obtain an ATP certificate.
  • Current 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radio License.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
  • Unrestricted authorization to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • The role involves significant work performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
  • Physical capability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Compensation and Benefits

Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from $235,000 to $300,000, contingent upon geographic location, aircraft size, relevant education, training, and candidate experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
