Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Falcon 7X Captain to join its operations based at the KBJC airport in Broomfield, Colorado. Essential Responsibilities:

The Falcon 7X Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Falcon 7X aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting flights in strict accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures. Key duties involve:

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft.
  • Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to flight.
  • Performing thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Conducting comprehensive checks of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route, including alternate airports.
  • Confirming adherence to all Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations during flight.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a strong foundation of flight experience, meeting or exceeding the following minimum requirements:

  • Total Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications & Certifications:

In addition to flight hour requirements, candidates must meet the following specific criteria:

  • Hold a type rating on the Falcon 7X or a comparable aircraft.
  • Possess a current First Class Medical certificate.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis is required.
  • Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
  • Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive from KBJC, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation determines salary ranges based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Compensation for crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, based on factors including geographic area, experience level, aircraft type, job duties, training, and the specific account assigned.
