Position Summary
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking highly qualified candidates for a Pilot in Command position operating a Falcon 7X aircraft. This role is based in Racine, Wisconsin, at RAC airport. This is a three-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, conducting operations under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations to both international and domestic destinations.
Please Note: This is a non-commutable position requiring the successful candidate to reside within driving distance of RAC airport.
The Pilot in Command holds the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The PIC must adhere to all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience to clients.
Key Responsibilities
The Pilot in Command is responsible for:

Ensuring the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Verifying crewing and trip assignments meet company and regulatory standards.
- Completing necessary flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.
- Leading required briefings utilizing the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel as required.
- Acting as the Ground Security Coordinator and In-Flight Security Coordinator in accordance with company policy.
- Completing all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including assessing the maintenance status, to ensure the aircraft is mission capable.
- Recording all aircraft discrepancies following company SOPs.
- Monitoring and overseeing aircraft ground servicing (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) according to SOPs.
- Conducting passenger briefings in line with company policy and regulations.
- Delivering the highest level of customer service and accommodating special passenger needs.
- Effectively utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all phases of flight.

Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Providing quality service to owners and passengers and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Investigating and resolving service deviations in a timely manner.
- Collaborating effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent service experience.
- Resolving conflicts and challenges professionally.

Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Keeping all required regulatory and company training current.
- Maintaining recency of experience as required.
- Complying with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Required Qualifications

Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet (Falcon 7X) is strongly preferred.

Experience:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience.
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.

Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- Pilot in Command Multi-Engine Land (PIC MEL): 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
