Position Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced and professional Captain to command operations in an elite private aviation environment. The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft, leading the flight crew, and providing an exceptional experience for discerning clientele. The successful candidate will navigate domestic and global routes, maintain rigorous safety standards, and serve as a brand ambassador for Jet Aviation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take command of assigned flights, ensuring safety and compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to operate with precision and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Perform duties as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under relevant security programs.
  • Conduct passenger safety briefings or delegate this duty to the second-in-command.
  • Report hazards, uphold security protocols, and document aircraft discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals, and required paperwork in accordance with company procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
  • Flight Experience: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including:
    • 1,500 hours Pilot in Command
    • 1,500 hours Multi-Engine
    • 500 hours Turbo-Jet
    • 500 hours Turbine
    • 100 hours Night
    • 75 hours Simulated Instrument
  • Education: High school diploma.
  • Licensure: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Availability: Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to approach problem-solving with integrity, discretion, and a proactive mindset.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The role requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally climb, kneel, or crouch. Candidates must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting, and maintain sharp vision across various ranges. The work environment varies from maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces, involving exposure to high noise levels, vibrations, fuel fumes, and varying weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $300,000 to $310,000, determined by experience, location, and other relevant factors. Eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:
