Position Summary: Captain

Jet Aviation, a leader in global aviation since 1967, is seeking an experienced Captain to join our elite private aviation team. In this role, the Captain holds full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft. The successful candidate will lead a professional crew, navigate diverse domestic and global routes, and ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for our discerning clientele while upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise full command over assigned flights, ensuring compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage complex flight plans, and adapt to evolving conditions.
  • Serve as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) in accordance with the Twelve Five or Private Charter Standard Security Programs.
  • Conduct or delegate required passenger safety briefings.
  • Proactively report hazards, maintain open safety communications, and record all aircraft discrepancies.
  • Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete administrative paperwork in accordance with company standards.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, consistently demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

Requirements

  • Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
  • Flight Experience: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time; 1,500 hours Pilot in Command; 1,500 hours Multi-Engine; 500 hours Turbo-Jet; 500 hours Turbine; 100 hours Night; 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Availability: Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restriction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, climbing, kneeling, and crouching. Candidates must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Pilots will operate in diverse environments, ranging from maintenance hangars to upscale customer facilities, which may include exposure to noise, vibrations, fuel fumes, and seasonal temperature extremes.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $300,000 to $310,000, determined by experience, location, and other relevant factors.
