Position Summary

The Cabin Server provides premier in-flight cabin services on Flexjet's fleet of large cabin aircraft. This full-time role is integral to ensuring an exceptional level of service and a memorable experience for all passengers, upholding the highest standards of luxury private aviation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures a consistently high level of service and comfort for all passengers throughout their journey.
  • Delivers a memorable passenger experience with the utmost responsiveness and attention to detail.
  • Prepares and presents catering orders and beverage services precisely as requested by passengers.
  • Prepares passengers and the aircraft for landing, strictly adhering to established procedures.
  • Greets boarding passengers with outstanding courtesy and professionalism.
  • Maintains a pristine and organized cabin environment as needed.
  • Manages and maintains appropriate aircraft stock and supplies.
  • Keeps the Captain thoroughly informed of any passenger plans or needs that may impact the conduct of the flight.
  • Attends to routine owner requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support flight operations and passenger satisfaction.

Education & Experience

  • An Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is required.
  • Possession of 3-5 years of experience in FAR Part 135 operations is essential.
  • 2-4 years of customer service experience, preferably within a high-end luxury hospitality service environment, is highly desirable.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Previous FACTS Training or an equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cuisine and cooking skills is preferred.
  • Prior corporate aviation experience is preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must possess the legal right to work in the United States and the ability to travel extensively in and out of the U.S. and to all international cities/countries where Flexjet operates.
  • The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintains a consistently professional and positive attitude.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Capable of sustaining physical requirements including moderate amounts of bending, lifting various weights (including supplies and catering needs), and sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Must be available to work a rotating schedule of either 8 days on / 6 days off (fixed schedule) or 16 days per month (variable schedule).

Working Conditions

The Cabin Server operates in a dynamic environment typical of aviation roles. While performing essential job functions, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold, high and precarious places, outside weather conditions, and vibration. Exposure to chemicals, including aviation fuels and lavatory fluid, is also common. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires considerable to moderate amounts of bending and lifting of various weights, including supplies and luggage.
  • Involves physical demands associated with the cleaning and stocking of aircraft.
  • Must be able to push open and pull closed aircraft doors, with a maximum force of 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Requires the ability to visually and aurally assess conditions effectively.

Domicile Information

This position supports various locations, with a preference for candidates residing near a major metropolitan area. Applicants must reside within a 90-mile radius of one of Flexjet's approved domiciles.
