Job Summary
The Cabin Server plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional, highly personalized in-flight experience aboard Flexjet's large-cabin aircraft. This full-time position demands a commitment to providing the highest standards of luxury cabin service, ensuring every passenger enjoys a memorable and seamless journey. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an elevated level of in-flight service, ensuring passenger comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
- Proactively anticipate and respond to passenger needs, providing a truly memorable and personalized experience.
- Manage and present exquisite catering and beverage services with impeccable attention to detail.
- Execute pre-landing and post-landing procedures, ensuring passenger and cabin readiness.
- Extend professional and courteous greetings to all passengers upon boarding.
- Maintain the pristine cleanliness and organization of the aircraft cabin throughout the flight.
- Oversee and manage aircraft inventory, including stocking supplies and provisions.
- Communicate effectively with the flight crew, providing timely updates on passenger requirements and flight-related information.
- Address additional owner needs and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, coupled with 3-5 years of experience in FAR Part 135 operations.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of customer service experience, preferably within a high-end luxury hospitality service environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and possesses the ability to travel internationally to all destinations served by Flexjet.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving operational requirements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Exemplifies a professional demeanor and a consistently positive attitude.
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- Available to work a rotating schedule, including an 8-day on / 6-day off fixed schedule or a 16-day per month variable schedule.
- Preferred: Prior FACTS Training or equivalent certification.
- Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of fine cuisine and culinary presentation skills.
- Preferred: Previous experience in corporate or private aviation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The role involves working within the dynamic environment of a private aircraft, including regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures (extreme heat and cold), humidity, and potential for loud noise levels. Exposure to aviation-related chemicals, including fuels and lavatory fluids, may occur. The position requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as moderate bending, lifting various weights (including supplies, catering, and luggage), and handling aircraft doors with a maximum force of 30 lbs. Candidates must be capable of standing and sitting for extended periods and possess the visual and auditory acuity to assess conditions effectively. Domicile
The successful candidate must reside within a 90-mile radius of an approved Flexjet domicile, preferably near a major metropolitan area.
