The organization is actively seeking an experienced, highly skilled Hawker 900XP Captain (Pilot in Command - PIC) to join its flight operations team. This full-time position supports Part 91 and Part 135 operations, requiring the Captain to be based near the New York metropolitan area, ideally within a three-hour car drive of Republic Airport (FRG) in Farmingdale, NY.

The company is committed to professional growth and will provide HS-125 type training for the exceptional candidate who possesses significant PIC turbine time and meets all other required qualifications.

Core Responsibilities of the Pilot in Command

The Captain is entrusted with the full authority and responsibility for the safe command and operational control of the Hawker 900XP aircraft. Key duties include:

  • Ensuring comprehensive compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency throughout all phases of flight.
  • Delivering superior, professional service and client experiences in line with NEAJets’ reputation for excellence.
  • Demonstrating outstanding leadership, decision-making capabilities, and effective crew resource management (CRM) skills.

Minimum Professional Requirements

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight time and licensing criteria:

  • Licenses and Medical: Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Flight Time: Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time, including 1,000 hours of turbine time.
  • Experience: 250 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time in type within the preceding 12 months is strongly preferred.
  • Documentation: Current FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's Permit, valid passport, and driver’s license are required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in English, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and iPad usage.
  • Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in the USA and able to freely enter and exit countries globally for international operations.

Position Details

  • Location: Republic Airport (FRG) in Farmingdale, NY.
  • Type: Full-time employment.
  • Base Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
