Job Summary
Aero seeks an experienced and highly skilled Gulfstream G-IV Captain (PIC) to join its distinguished team of aviators. Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability for all passenger flights.
- Masterfully navigate a diverse range of operational scenarios, collaborating effectively with fellow crew members and ground staff to uphold superior customer service.
- Demonstrate strong leadership by competently managing both routine and emergency situations.
- Operate with independence and as an integral part of a cohesive team, often under limited supervision.
- Guarantee the utmost safety and comfort for all passengers.
- Be prepared for global operations across various climates and locations, requiring flexibility to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Gulfstream G-IV Type Rating.
- Possess an active FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 4,000 hours Total Time (TT), including 2,000 hours in turbojet aircraft.
- Accrue at least 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time, with a minimum of 500 hours Time in Type (G-IV) and 250 hours PIC Time in Type.
- Possess at least one year of experience operating under FAA Part 135 and/or Part 121 regulations.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of flight operations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Successfully complete all required TSA criminal background checks (CHRC).
- Proficiency in learning and utilizing Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs) for operational duties.
- Hold a valid FCC Restricted Radio Telephone Operator Permit.
- Possess a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Capable of unrestricted international travel to all destinations served by Aero.
- Must possess a valid passport and all necessary documentation for entry into the United States following international flights.
- As a DOT safety-sensitive position, as defined by 14 CFR part 120 and 49 CFR part 40, all prospective employees will be subject to pre-employment drug testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opioids, and Phencyclidine (PCP).
