First Officer – Frontier Airlines

Job Summary
The First Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft in strict accordance with Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR). This role requires a commitment to superior customer service and operational excellence during all phases of flight.
Key Responsibilities

Execute safe and timely flight operations, including weekend, holiday, and night shifts.

Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to verify aircraft airworthiness.

Analyze weather forecasts for departure, arrival, and alternate stations.

Oversee flight planning and fueling procedures to ensure safe operational conduct.

Coordinate the handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo to maintain on-time performance.

Maintain clear communication with crew and passengers regarding turbulence, adverse weather, and operational factors.

Review load manifests and verify passenger counts prior to every departure.
Requirements and Qualifications

ATP Certificate.
-
1,500 hours total flight time (2,500 hours preferred).

750 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing flight time.

500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).

500 hours jet/turboprop experience.

Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.

FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.

Valid US passport (machine-readable) or valid foreign passport with authorization to work in the US, with the ability to travel freely to all Frontier Airlines destinations.

Experience with EFIS and FMS is preferred.

Must be able to relocate.

Ability to pass mandatory pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Equipment:
Proficiency required in the use of company manuals, navigation charts, iPads/tablets, aircraft controls, and standard office equipment.

Physical Effort:
Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
